Armenian Wine Dinner

The story of Armenian wine is every part as fascinating as you'd expect. One of the oldest wine-growing regions in the world, Armenia took a brief departure from winemaking in the early 20th century (in favor of brandy and vodka, naturally). However, Armenian winemakers came back into prominence in the mid-1900s, when it became clear that the country's indigenous grapes were perfectly adapted to high altitudes, warm days, and chilly nights.
We're glad Armenian wine came back into style all those years ago, because it means we can pay homage to the grapes and dishes of the region with a private wine dinner! Join us Wednesday, November 7 for a classic Armenian dinner done PQM-style. Menu and details below.

Cheers to Ten Years: Sunday Supper at The Publican
Join Paul Kahan, Donnie Madia, Terry Alexander, Eduard Seitan and the entire Publican family on Sunday, October 28 as we raise a glass to the purveyors, farmers, ranchers, fishermen, distillers and brewers who've been with us from the beginning. The festivities kick off at 5 pm, with a reception filled with Island Creek Oysters, La Quercia ham and welcome drinks. The celebration will continue with a seated Sunday Supper, made up of family-style courses of our classic dishes. And, because it wouldn't be a true Publican dinner without a beer list to match, we'll be pairing each dinner course with collaboration beers from breweries like Cantillon, Hill Farmstead, and Goose Island.
